I've always been fascinated by the way narrative filmmaking allows us to communicate emotion beyond dialogue. Through light, composition and movement, cinematography has the power to reveal what a character is feeling, shape the atmosphere of a scene and immerse audiences in a story long before a single word is spoken.

 

Collaborating closely with directors to develop a visual language of narrative films that feels authentic to each project is something I enjoy immensely. Every creative decision is made in service of the story, using thoughtful cinematography to support character, emotion and the world the film invites us into.
